LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog rumoured to get new 18+ set
Rumour has it that LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog will receive an 18+ set in 2024 and Animal Crossing may be getting a small but mighty wave too.
LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog has just seen its second wave of models release and previous rumours stated that three more builds could be coming in summer 2024. Now, 1414falconfan on Instagram reports that 77000 will be an 18+ model for the theme featuring 720 pieces, following LEGO Ideas 21331 Sonic the Hedgehog – Green Hill Zone.
Technically, the LEGO Ideas model isn’t a LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog set (as part of the theme) but the connection is undeniable and it offers an idea of what to expect, though it has 1,125 pieces by comparison.
The LEGO Ideas set is designed to be expanded on so a smaller addition to the diorama could be an option for another 18+ LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog set. Nothing has been confirmed at the time of writing and all rumours should be taken with caution, but it could be exciting for LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog enthusiasts.
