Complete LEGO Space, Castle and Pirates minifigures available through Pick a Brick

You can currently assemble armies of LEGO Classic Space, Castle and Pirates characters for less at Pick a Brick, where multiple complete minifigures are available to order.

While Pick a Brick is generally useful for picking up individual minifigure parts that are otherwise hard to find elsewhere – such as the purple Classic Space helmet and airtanks – you can also piece together entire minifigures through the online service. Many of the specific pieces required come in and out of stock regularly, so even if they’re not available by the time you read this, it’s worth checking back every now and then.

You’ll also need to bear in mind the distinction between Standard and Bestseller parts: these ship separately from one another, and each have their own minimum spend threshold (£10 in the UK) to remove service fees (£2.50 for Bestseller parts, £5 for Standard parts). A handful of the complete minifigures currently available through Pick a Brick are comprised entirely of Bestseller pieces, while others are a mix of the two categories.

Here are a selection of the LEGO Classic Castle, Space and Pirates minifigures currently available at Pick a Brick. All of these have previously appeared in official sets, from 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle and 10320 Eldorado Fortress to 10497 Galaxy Explorer and 21325 Medieval Blacksmith, but this is arguably the cheapest and easiest way to build entire armies.

Red and white Classic Space astronauts

Both available in the retiring 10497 Galaxy Explorer, these red and white astronauts are a mainstay of the LEGO Classic Space theme. But if you need more than four to man your expeditions throughout the solar system, Pick a Brick has you covered: at the time of writing, all the parts required for these two are in stock and available to purchase in the UK and Europe.

The total price for a single Classic Space astronaut in either white or red is just £2.06. Check out the element IDs for each one (and their prices) below.

Blacktron astronaut

Staying in the Classic Space lane for a moment, the Blacktron minifigure from this year’s 40580 Blacktron Cruiser is also available to buy, complete with their metal detector. The total cost for this one is £2.26 per minifigure.

Lion Knights

While an army of identi-kit astronauts might work just fine for Classic Space, where everyone has the same standard smiley face, you’re probably going to want to get a little bit more creative for your army of updated Lion Knights. These characters returned to store shelves in 2022’s 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle, and though that set includes a decent number, it never hurts to bolster their ranks a little more.

Luckily, all the pieces you need are available through Pick a Brick. A complete minifigure (with helmet and weapon) will cost somewhere just north of £3, depending on the specific head and accessories you choose. If you have spare generic heads lying around, you could even leave those out altogether and just order the outfits to keep costs down. Here are the relevant ID numbers you’ll need.

Black Falcons

It’s a similar story for the Black Falcons, which first re-emerged in 21325 Medieval Blacksmith and have since appeared in both 31120 Medieval Castle and 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle. Order a bunch of torsos, legs, helmets and accessories for the basic building blocks of your army, then add in whatever head pieces you like to give it some variety. Again, you’re looking at just north of £3 for a single minifigure.

Forestmen

Another Classic Castle faction that’s made a comeback in recent years, the Forestmen are pretty easy to army build via Pick a Brick, because nearly all the parts required are tagged as Bestseller. There isn’t a huge amount of variation between these minifigures, so best start stocking up on interesting heads, too.

Imperial Soldiers

10320 Eldorado Fortress has finally given us a new faction for our growing collection of LEGO Pirates to fight, complementing 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay and 31109 Pirate Ship. If its five soldiers and governor aren’t enough for you, though, you can always add more characters to your collection with Pick a Brick (at least when all the parts are in stock). You’re talking roughly £2 per minifigure here. Check out the relevant part IDs in the table below.

Pirates

If you accidentally buy too many Imperial Soldiers – it happens to the best of us – you’re going to want a few more pirates to balance things out again. While you won’t find any of the specific minifigures from 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay at Pick a Brick, there are enough relevant pieces from 10320 Eldorado Fortress and 31109 Pirate Ship to cobble together your own swashbuckling characters, and all for reasonable prices.

Remember that you’ll need to spend at least £50 at LEGO.com in the UK to trigger free delivery, but if you don’t meet that threshold with Pick a Brick minifigures alone, you can always combine your order with other sets at LEGO.com. That’s also a great way to grab gifts-with-purchase, such as 40586 Moving Truck, which is available for the rest of today only in the UK and Europe with orders above £160 / €180.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.

nope, Bricklink only. Packages within days. Pieces usually cheaper and Pick a Brick is a circus for clowns by clowns. Why does it take 3 months to get a 0.3gram parcel?

I’ve only had bad experiences with pick a brick. insane delivery times and shocking communication from DPD. It looks like my order came from Poland which, honestly , doesn’t take 3 weeks.

Lego seem to be stretching themselves a bit too far. I ended up buying the 6 specific blocks I needed from eBay and got them in 2 days, for less money.

Did I mention the delivery fees? No? I won’t spoil it for those that don’t know. suffice to say it’s quite a lot.
