LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary sets officially revealed

Three LEGO Star Wars 25th-anniversary midi-scale sets have been revealed alongside pricing for all five confirmed models as the theme turns 25.

LEGO Star Wars’ biggest celebration yet starts in just over a month as the curtain has been lifted on the LEGO Star Wars 25th-anniversary wave of sets. Five models have been officially announced including a trio of midi-scale ships and the debut build for the Invisible Hand.

“The LEGO Star Wars collaboration has enjoyed a most impressive 25 years with products, video games, animated content, big builds, merchandise, and more,” says Mike Ilacqua, Head of Product at the LEGO Group. “We want to celebrate all those years and milestones with everyone who helped us get here, but especially with the fan community as we would never be where we are today without their creativity and passion.”

The full extent of the LEGO Star Wars 25th-anniversary celebrations includes more than just new sets, extending to the likes of a short film festival and a massive model going on display around the world. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming builds and never-before-seen minifigures that you’ll be able to pick up starting next month with pre-orders starting soon.

75375 Millennium Falcon

Price: £74.99 / $84.99 / €84.99 Pieces: 921 Release date: March 1, 2024

Following 2009’s 7778 Midi-scale Millennium Falcon, another midi-scale Millennium Falcon is on the way at nearly the same size. This iteration comes complete with a display stand and is made of 921 pieces. The iconic ship has been faithfully recreated at the rare LEGO Star Wars scale and the set even includes a specially printed piece for the 25th anniversary, all for £74.99 / $84.99 / €84.99.

75376 Tantive IV

Price: £69.99 / $79.99 / €79.99 Pieces: 654 Release date: March 1, 2024

It’s not just 75387 Boarding the Tantive IV that celebrates the first ship seen in Star Wars history this year. 75376 Tantive IV is coming at 654 pieces on March 1. It’s the smallest and most affordable LEGO Star Wars Tantive IV recreation so far and this iconic ship also comes with the 25th-anniversary printed piece. It can be yours for £69.99 / $79.99 / €79.99.

75376 Invisible Hand

Price: £46.99 / $49.99 / €52.99 Pieces: 557 Release date: March 1, 2024

There are two midi-scale models representing the original trilogy but thankfully the prequels aren’t being left out. 75376 Invisible Hand has 557 pieces and will cost considerably less than the other two ships at £46.99 / $49.99 / €52.99. From the ice skate representing its pointed bow to the transparent blue detailing towards the back, it may be one of the most tempting LEGO Star Wars 25th-anniversary sets for Clone Wars enthusiasts.

75379 R2-D2

Price: £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 Pieces: 1,050 Release date: March 1, 2024

75379 R2-D2 has been officially revealed to cost £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 complete with 1,050 pieces, offering a smaller but still considerably-sized depiction of the droid. One of the standout inclusions in this set though is not the build, but the exclusive Darth Malak minifigure. It is inspired by Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. The 25th anniversary of the theme is being used as a chance to depict characters never seen before as minifigures and that’s certainly the case with Darth Malak.

75387 Boarding the Tantive IV

Price: £49.99 / $49.99 / €54.99 Pieces: 502 Release date: March 1, 2024

75387 Boarding the Tantive IV recreates an iconic scene from Star Wars history that has been represented surprisingly little across LEGO Star Wars’ history. It’s coming on March 1 for £49.99 / $49.99 / €54.99 with 502 pieces and seven minifigures. Six of those can be displayed in the scene and include two Rebel Fleet Troopers, two Stormtroopers, Captain Antilles and Darth Vader. The other minifigure is the exclusive 25th-anniversary Arc Trooper Fives, complete with cloth pauldrons and detailed printing.

I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes.
