LEGO Star Wars Battles is back with a full release

LEGO Star Wars Battles has a new lease of life as the brick-based phone game returns with full details of how players can get their hands on it.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga isn’t the only game based on a galaxy far, far away from TT Games whose future has been uncertain for some time. Following an announcement that the title would be shut down whilst still in early access, possibly explained by the developer being bought by EA.

Thankfully, TT Games are on hand to pick up the game and treat it as an exclusive mobile release. Instead of releasing across all phone platforms, LEGO Star Wars Battles is now only coming to Apple Arcade.

The news was announced along with a new selection of screenshots, giving us a fresh look at the game under the wings of the iconic LEGO games developer.

The game will allow players to live out their wildest battle fantasies with characters from all across the Star Wars universe. One example given was a flock of Porgs against a single Stormtrooper but given their aim, we’re not sure who would win. Those units can be upgraded as you explore the galaxy with maps set on Takodana, Kamino, Naboo and more.

LEGO Star Wars Battles does not yet have a concrete release date but its listing on the Apple Arcade store is now live to track until a launch day is revealed. We’ll let you know when we know about the latest LEGO Star Wars game, but in the meantime why not rewatch the new trailer for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga again?

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
