LEGO Super Hero Legends magazine to include rare Green Goblin minifigure

An upcoming LEGO Super Hero Legends magazine will include a rare Green Goblin minifigure, with similar variants only available in two other sets.

Immediate Media publishes its LEGO Super Hero Legends magazine on a monthly basis in the UK and Europe, with the title currently alternating between The Avengers and Spider-Man content. Although that effectively makes it a dedicated LEGO Marvel magazine in all but name, the magazine has featured plenty of free Spider-Man minifigures over the years.

Whilst that might not be the greatest incentive for older readers, LEGO Super Hero Legends magazine does sometimes include more obscure Marvel characters that might make the title an appealing purchase for those looking to fill out their minifigure collections. A case in point is an upcoming issue of the title that will come with a free (and rare) Green Goblin minifigure previously only available in a slight variant form in two other LEGO sets to date.

Instagram user worldsofclonerus recently revealed that the April issue of LEGO Super Hero Legends magazine will include Norman Osborn’s evil alter ego, complete with pumpkin bombs and goblin glider. A similar version of the comic book villain was last featured in 76175 Attack on the Spider Lair and also closely resembles the minifigure that’s part of 76178 Daily Bugle, although there are some subtle differences.

The LEGO Super Hero Legends magazine version does lack the printed legs of its counterparts in the other sets, but the upcoming minifigure does boast a colourful and more accurately scaled version of the Green Goblin’s glider, even more so than same the accessory in 76175 Attack on the Spider Lair. It’s also worth considering that LEGO Super Hero Legends magazine is priced at £4.25 per issue, which is a fraction of the cost of either LEGO Marvel set.

LEGO Super Hero Legends magazine Issue 31 will be on sale February 1, 2023 and include a free Miles Morales minifigure, followed by a Black Panther minifigure in the March issue and the Green Goblin minifigure in April’s edition.
