LEGO has added a surprising extra member to The Lord of the Rings Fellowship
The LEGO Group appears to have added a surprising extra member of the Fellowship of the Ring to its brick-built line-up.
It’s pretty standard for the LEGO Group to recommend similar sets when you scroll down on a product page. For 71043 Hogwarts Castle, you might be offered other sets based on the iconic wizarding school. For the newly-revealed 10333 The Lord of the Rings Barad-dûr, there are now a fair few modern LEGO The Lord of the Rings sets, split between LEGO Icons and BrickHeadz, to choose from.
However, if you keep scrolling across, you’ll find a surprising extra member of the Fellowship that we personally don’t remember seeing in the movies. We won’t spoil it; check out the video below to see for yourself.
That’s right, 21349 Tuxedo Cat is apparently part of the Fellowship, at least judging from LEGO.com. Admittedly, 21349 Tuxedo Cat does look pretty cute and proud to be included next to the LEGO The Lord of the Rings BrickHeadz – but we don’t remember it playing a role in returning the ring to Mordor. Perhaps as a feline alternative to the giant eagles? Either way, we’re rolling with it for as long as the LEGO Group is.
You can complete your LEGO The Lord of the Rings collection by buying 21349 Tuxedo Cat for £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99 right now. Plus, check out every confirmed LEGO The Lord of the Rings set below.
