LEGO The Lord of the Rings gift-with-purchase revealed
LEGO Icons 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr will be launching with an exclusive Fell Beast gift-with-purchase for early adopters.
Those picking up the newly-revealed 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr next month can score a free 40693 The Lord of the Rings: Fell Beast, completing the duo of new LEGO The Lord of the Rings sets. The gift-with-purchase is being offered from June 1 to June 7 or while stocks last exclusively with purchases containing 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr.
That means LEGO Insiders will get the first chance at scoring the gift as 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr releases for members on June 1 or widely on June 4. We’d also caution that the gift-with-purchase may not be in stock when the set exits early access and you may want to consider signing up for a free LEGO Insiders account before June.
40693 The Lord of the Rings: Fell Beast includes the winged creature itself, a small platform on which to display it and a Nazgûl minifigure, which for the time being at least is exclusive to this set.
The Fell Beast has moving legs, a tail, a neck, a head and wings with some printed material elements, while the grey base apparently represents Osgiliath (at least according to the LEGO.com description). The muted colour scheme ensures it fits in well with 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr either way.
Both 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr and 40693 The Lord of the Rings: Fell Beast arrive on June 1 for LEGO Insiders and non-members will see the set launch on June 4, when the gift-with-purchase may have sold out depending on demand. You can find out more about the larger model in our initial report.
