A brand new LEGO Vikings set is out now thanks to LEGO Ideas

LEGO Ideas’ newest entry is out now, revisiting the world of LEGO Vikings in a more historically accurate model – 21343 Viking Village.

21343 Viking Village launches today with four minifigures and over 2,000 pieces, ready to offer a place for your LEGO Vikings to rest and recuperate before another adventure. 21343 Viking Village has no ship and focuses instead on the village between three buildings on an island that measures 46cm wide.

Head to LEGO.com now and grab the new LEGO Ideas 21343 Viking Village on launch day.

Each building has an interior, with the longhouse in the middle being the most detailed. To make it easier to move and store, you can even separate the island into three parts. However, you might prefer to attach them when the set is on display.

21343 Viking Village’s minifigures are a highlight of the model with some exclusive designs to enjoy and some rarer prints otherwise available in 31132 Viking Ship and the Midgard Serpent. The presence of a printed hammer and shields, but there’s still no escaping the inaccurate, yet iconic horned helmets.

That slight historical inaccuracy aside, 21343 Viking Village is available now for anyone wanting to learn more about Viking life for £124.99 / $129.99 / €139.99. You can click here to read our detailed review.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
