LEGO World Builder is expanding the team

LEGO World Builder is expanding its team as it searches for fans interested in helping to manage the ideas-generation platform and shape future projects.

Applications are now open for a position on LEGO World Builder’s team as the platform searches for a Community Moderator Contractor. Those struggling to understand the title should know that this will involve managing the relevant social media and mediate which worlds remain on the platform for potential future production

Builders can send in an application via the project page but there are a few requirements you’ll need to fulfil such as a minimum of one year working professional in communications or other relevant fields.

Other guidelines state that applicants must be able to demonstrate familiarity with the LEGO brand, but we doubt many reading this will have such an issue.

The position is listed as working a maximum of 20 hours a week for $20/hour. However, you also must submit a variety of documentation with your application from a resume to 500 words describing your favourite LEGO property.

The thorough process will remain open until June 29 at 12pm PT, so don’t wait too long to familiarise yourself with the requirements. Should you be chosen for the job, you’ll help future projects become real LEGO experiences, such as the upcoming Holiday special. It’s not the only opportunity that the platform is hosting to get involved though as Pitch Fest is also currently live as well as a request for NINJAGO-themed worlds.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
