LEGO’s BrickLink Designer Program is updating its guidelines

There are going to be some changes to the LEGO BrickLink Designer Program with Series 4 as updated guidelines are on the way.

The BrickLink team have announced on social media that a webinar is to be held soon to go over updated submission guidelines for the fourth series of the ongoing LEGO BrickLink Designer Program.

The webinar is scheduled for December 1 at 10:00am PT / 7:00pm CET or 6:00pm GMT and will last around an hour according to the Microsoft Teams listing for the event. The listing also asks that you come prepared with questions.

Exactly what parts of the current submission guidelines are changing has not been confirmed, though there are only a couple of weeks to wait until we find out more. As the entry intake period for the third series has closed, it is unlikely to affect the latest round of the BrickLink Designer Program.

The LEGO BrickLink Designer Program is currently confirmed to continue at least until Series 6 and it seems likely that these updated guidelines will affect all future rounds, at least unless they are updated again. Before the upcoming webinar, the five chosen entries for the third series of the BrickLink Designer Program are scheduled to be announced on November 20, 2023.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
