A massive LEGO Jurassic World model may arrive in 2022

Amazon US has listed a huge LEGO Jurassic World set online, suggesting that a mammoth build worth $250 is coming in April 2022.

Online retailer Amazon has listed an upcoming LEGO Jurassic world set on the US storefront with the set number 76944 priced at $249.99 and arriving on April 17, 2022.

Nothing more is revealed about the potentially upcoming model in the listing, with the only image being a placeholder box suitable for any theme. The possible $249.99 price is the same as 75936 Jurassic Park: T. rex Rampage, the largest currently available LEGO Jurassic Park model with the theme also encompassing the newer Jurassic World movies and media.

In response to a post mentioning the listing, Instagram user lego_club_news stated that this was indeed an error, and whilst the set is coming it is said to only be priced at $50. This has not been confirmed, but we should at least know more by April 2022. It may be wise to treat this as a rumour until officially announced by the LEGO Group.

Note that the featured image depicts 75936 Jurassic Park: T. rex Rampage and not the listed model. The officially-released build is available now from the official online store but will be retiring soon. You can read our in-depth review of the massive set here.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.

Amazon didn’t list it, some third party listed it on Amazon. Apparently Amazon is pretty lax about ensuring listing quality.
