More Disney 100th anniversary sets teased in LEGO catalogue
A LEGO catalogue for the first half of 2023 has teased that more Disney sets for the 100th anniversary are coming beyond the BrickHeadz pack.
Earlier today, 40622 Disney 100th Celebration was revealed, confirming that the LEGO Group intend to celebrate the monumental anniversary for the company (and only one year after the LEGO Group’s 90th too).
However, an official Australian catalogue shared online suggests that there may be more planned for the occasion. At the time of writing, one LEGO Disney set for the 100th anniversary has been confirmed with 40622 Disney 100th Celebration. The teaser in the catalogue showcases two release windows. It also includes silver version of the pieces used for the Mad Hatter’s hat, the magic lamp from Aladdin, a bone possibly for Pluto, Donald Duck’s sailor cap, Woody’s hat, a teapot for Mrs. Potts and a bow either for Minnie or Daisy.
Neither the March nor April release window matches with the US release date of 40622 Disney 100th Celebration, but the BrickHeadz could be launching later in Australia and New Zealand. Either way, one set shouldn’t have two release dates so something else appears to be coming for the anniversary.
Previous rumours for the future of LEGO Disney included several reported sets that could be launched for the 100th anniversary. These rumours have yet to be confirmed by the LEGO Group so take them caution.
