It's not just LEGO Sonic and Dr. Eggman coming to Sonic Superstars as three more skins for playable characters have been revealed.
Revealed at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2023, Sonic Superstars' latest trailer has revealed the contents of its digital deluxe edition with a variety of skins to customise your experience. This includes the old rabbit concept character for Sonic the Hedgehog as well as lego minifigures of Tails, Knuckles and Amy.
Tails and Amy are included in

In LEGO Dimensions, Knuckles was featured as a digital character with a somewhat similar head brick and printing compared to the skin in Sonic Superstars, but they're by no means identical with notable differences between them, including new fist pieces and dual-moulded legs.

LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog looks to be continuing in 2024 but whether or not it could debut new minifigures, including this Knuckles, has yet to be confirmed. The printing and bricks all appear to be realistic within the framework already set out by LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog though.
Sonic Superstars is releasing on October 17, 2023, with a LEGO expansion pack confirmed for the game. There's also a Dr. Eggman skin that you can get by pre-ordering the title. A Sonic LEGO skin has been confirmed in a previous trailer but it's not yet known where it will appear, possibly in the upcoming expansion pack.
It's ont the first time that the LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog minifigures have appeared in a Sonic the Hedgehog game. They feature in Sonic Dash and Sonic Forces Mobile.
