If you’re heading out to do some LEGO shopping this weekend, get ready to pick up a bunch of extra goodies for free. As part of a Halloween promotional push, LEGO Stores and branches of Smyths Toys are offering customers a number of fun bonus items at no extra cost. In addition, visitors to their local participating stores can also pick up one of eight polybags with no purchase necessary, although the items are limited to one per person while stocks last.

Sets up for grabs have now been confirmed as being 30559 Elsa and Bruni’s Forest Camp and 30432 The Turtle Beach, former VIP reward 30560 Pineapple Photo Holder and Mini Board, current VIP reward 30581 Tropical Parrot, plus recent GWP sets such as 30389 Fuzzy & Mushroom Platform, 30434 Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro, 30589 Go-Kart Racer and 30592 Mini Thunder Raider.

Not to be outdone, LEGO Stores in the UK, US and Europe are giving away a free Frankenstein’s monster model as part of a Halloween Make and Take event. Visitors who didn’t manage to pick up the green brick-built head today can still collect the set from 12pm to 2pm on October 30.

In addition, LEGO Stores in the UK, US and Europe have been holding a Halloween-themed Treasure Hunt event this week, which also ends on October 30, with a mystery promotional item up for grabs. The store we visited was giving away free 30590 Farm Garden & Scarecrow polybags, with the set recently rumoured to be a potential GWP for October.

I was in Smyth’s on Saturday and knew of this offer but I didn’t get one despite spending big on items I was picking up click and collect. On the website it says one per child and I’m an adult so I assumed that was why.
