Multiple LEGO themes embrace space branding in 2024 sets

Space is key for the LEGO Group’s various themes at the start of 2024 with new branding that connects everything from LEGO DREAMZzz to Technic.

Throughout the recent 2024 LEGO set reveals you may have spotted a silver banner on some boxes marked with the Classic Space logo. However, this isn’t just limited to one theme as the same banner can be seen across select models in LEGO City, Creator, Technic, Friends, DREAMZzz, and Classic.

As you might have guessed the branding, every one of these sets is based on space in some way. They may be realistic recreations of space exploration equipment or fantastical depictions of exploration in the future but all link back to the overall theme of space.

While LEGO sets across themes commonly share concepts, branding like this is new for the LEGO portfolio and an interesting choice on the LEGO Group’s part to link models that are similar in concept but have drastically different designs.

For space enthusiasts, it’s never been easier to find a LEGO space set – just look for the silver banner on a box. Out of the selection, 71475 Mr Oz’s Space Car is the most unusual but it still fits within the space collection. These LEGO space sets launch during the first few months of 2024 with dates varying by theme. Whether later 2024 LEGO space-adjacent models will feature the branding has yet to be seen.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
