New Bristol LEGO store opening date announced

The newest UK LEGO Store will finally be opening its doors as lockdown ends next week.

Bristol’s new flagship LEGO Store has a new opening date after its original opening was impacted by the England lockdown. The store will now open next week December 2 at 10am, a spokesperson from the LEGO Group has said.

The Cabot Circus store will be the latest in the LEGO Group’s line-up of official UK stores. Bristol fans can expect similar features to other locations including interactive displays, a Build-a-Minifigure station, a Pick and Build wall and, of course, the chance to collect and spend VIP points.

Originally, the store was to open in November after being announced this August. However, with the beginning of the national lockdown, the opening was put on hold. Now with lockdown ending next week, non-essential retail can reopen in all tiers across England.

“We are so excited to bring a whole new play experience to all budding builders in Bristol,” said Alison Wood of LEGO Stores UK when the location was first announced. “Whether you’re one or 100, there is something for you to get excited about – including the latest LEGO brick products and a range of exciting in-store play activities.”
