New licensed LEGO 4+ theme rumoured for future

Continuing with the LEGO rumours surfacing over the holiday period, a new 4+ licensed theme is being reported for the future.

According to lego_minecraft_goat on Instagram, a licensed theme made up of only 4+ sets is coming ‘soon’. Other reports on the account over the holiday period reportedly detail 2023 releases, though the same has not been rumoured for this theme, which is also said to be codenamed ‘Sparkles’.

Reported details regarding ‘Sparkles’ include that it could be made up of only 4+ sets likely designed with simplistic builds for younger fans. It’s also said that this theme may be licensed, meaning that it could cover a property not owned by the LEGO Group such as Marvel, Star Wars and smaller franchises including Trolls.

Rumoured sets as part of this theme include the following:

lego

Set numberPieces
1078558
10786130
10787130
10788497

This Instagram user is a relatively new source for these kinds of reports and as such, they don’t have a reliable track record just yet. For now, take these rumours with an extra pinch of salt as the LEGO Group has not officially confirmed these models.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
