UK LEGO fans, some good news! LEGOLAND is getting a new ride in 2017, reports Themeparks.UK. The new ride coming to LEGOLAND Windsor will open in the new Ninjago World as long as it passes through the planning application for the new land and attraction.
Here are the plans:
Triotech, the ones manufacturing the new ride, are a world leader in media-based interactive attractions. The ride will fit 4 people per car, each representing the four main NINJAGO characters and will use 3D imagery, high-tech sensors, and the use of hand movements in a striking motion, to allow the riders to blast animated fireballs, lightning, shockwaves and ice as they travel through dojos to master their skills before heading into battle. 4D effects such as heat, smoke and wind are also incorporated throughout the adventure, giving guests the ultimate interactive experience.
The adventure starts earlier though when they enter the new world where guests will begin their ninja training. These attractions include; Cole’s Rock Climb (climbing wall), Zane’s Temple Build (building station), Jay’s Lightning Drill (game to test reflexes) and Kai’s Spinners (spinners to test balance).
Two other versions of NINJAGO World with NINJAGO The Ride are opening in 2016 at LEGOLAND Billund and LEGOLAND California, with another opening at LEGOLAND Florida in 2017. NINJAGO World with NINJAGO The Ride at LEGOLAND Windsor will replace Loki’s Labyrinth, require the relocation of Longboat Invader and re-theming of Spinning Spider.
