Put a mouse in your house with new LEGO Disney Brick Sketches

A new set of LEGO Brick Sketches have been revealed, featuring what might be the two most iconic Disney characters.

The official online LEGO store has revealed a new collection of Brick Sketches, with Mickey and Minnie Mouse the latest subject for the LEGO theme. The two characters each come in their own set.

40456 Mickey Mouse features the Disney mascot himself and clocks in at 118 pieces. Just like the rest of the Brick Sketches range, a stand is included for display on desks or other surfaces or it can be attached to a wall.

40457 Minnie Mouse is much the same as 40456, with the large black ears forming the iconic shape of the character. However, Minnie’s set mixes things up with a set of LEGO grille eyelashes and a red bow made of heart-shaped bricks. 40457 Minnie Mouse includes 140 pieces.

The two sets are listed as launching on March 1 for £14.99 / $16.99 / €16.99 and will earn shoppers at the official online LEGO store 120 VIP points each. Interestingly, both sets are at the new adjusted price point, suggesting that this will be the price of most future Brick Sketches models.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
