First rumoured details of LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 22

The first rumoured details of the next LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series have surfaced online, potentially revealing the price and release date.

According to Instagram user lego_club_news, we may have the initial details on an upcoming series of LEGO Collectible Minifigures – a theme that has just been confirmed to continue in both 2022 and 2023.

Reportedly, the 22nd range of original minifigures will be titled 71032 LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 22, indicating that this will not be the recently announced collection of licensed minifigures teased by Matthew Ashton in a recent Instagram Q&A.

The wave is rumoured to include 12 minifigures, matching the character count of both 71029 Series 21 and 71031 Marvel Studios. This might not be surprising considering that 12 is the new total for Collectible Minifigures. The user also states that the series will release in January 2022 for $4.99 a pack.

Should all this prove to be true, and note that it has not been officially confirmed by the LEGO Group so treat it with the usual caution just in case, January 2022 could prove to be an exciting time for shoppers with LEGO Creator also rumoured to bringing us the return of Vikings.

We’ll let you know when we officially learn more about the new LEGO offerings in 2022, including whatever the future holds for Collectible Minifigures.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
