Second LEGO panel announced for San Diego Comic-Con 2022

The LEGO Group will be participating in a second panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, with ‘Behind the Bricks’ taking place on July 24.

Following confirmation of its attendance at San Diego Comic-Con 2022 and its participation in a panel on July 21, the LEGO Group will also be taking part in a second panel on July 24. The pop culture event will be returning to San Diego after a two-year break this month, with numerous entertainment brands, exhibitors and Hollywood A-listers all appearing at the annual show.

As previously reported, the schedule for Thursday has revealed that ‘Building Worlds with LEGO’ is set to take place on July 21, with a number of creative types in attendance, including LEGO designer Peter Donner and head of production for LEGO Entertainment, Asa Tait.

Now a second LEGO panel has been announced, with this one scheduled for July 24 from 11.30am to 12.30pm in Room 6BCF. ‘Behind the Bricks with LEGO Entertainment’ will include exclusive first looks at upcoming LEGO Masters and NINJAGO animated content, as well as a Q&A with some of the creative teams behind the shows.

‘Go behind the scenes and get a sneak peek at upcoming LEGO animation, specials and LEGO Masters. Boone Langston (LEGO Masters) leads a panel sharing exciting new LEGO animation, including a dive into the epic finale of the current NINJAGO series and exclusive peeks at the upcoming season of LEGO Masters, followed by a Q&A featuring Rob May (producer, LEGO Masters), Robert Fewkes (producer, LEGO CITY Adventures), Jason Cosler (producer, LEGO Star Wars) and Doc Wyatt and Kevin Burke (writers, NINJAGO).’

With Sunday’s full schedule yet to be announced, it’s possible that more LEGO panels could be announced, so we’ll be sure to keep you posted as soon as we hear anything.
