Seven LEGO DC sets listed for launch later in 2022

Seven LEGO DC sets have been listed on a retailer with release dates and piece counts for later this year, including one with over 2,700 bricks.

Online retailer electricBricks have listed seven potential upcoming LEGO DC sets with details of their release dates and piece counts, possibly revealing seven future sets for the theme.

The full list of possible LEGO DC models, with links to the listings, is as follows:

76216 – 496 pieces, June 1
76217 – 476 pieces, June 1
76218 – 2,708 pieces, August 1
76219 – 298 pieces, April 1
76225 – September 1
76226 – September 1
76231 – 268 pieces, September 1

Out of these, a notable inclusion is 76218 which is said to have 2,708 parts according to the retailer. At that piece count, it would sit between 76139 1989 Batmobile at 3,306 elements and 76052 Batman Classic TV Series – Batcave at 2,262 bricks.

Both have been retired, but this potential set could still be one of the biggest for DC to date. Previous rumours suggested that a huge LEGO Marvel or DC set was on the way, though at a high price of $499.99 that the part count may not relate to.

The retailer’s listings suggest that we may be seeing these builds on shelves and in-store as early as June, indicating that the summer wave of LEGO DC might be bigger than the 2022 range released so far, which has featured The Batman models.

The LEGO Group has not officially confirmed the above listings as upcoming sets, so be sure to take everything you read with caution until announced otherwise.

76218 is also listed at the exact same size as 76240 Batmobile tumbler. 48 x 58.2 x 12.4CM

Makes me think it will be a batmobile of some sort. Would love to see Batman forever batmobile
