Star Wars’ eras detailed in new official timeline

With dozens of Star Wars projects now available to watch, and more on the way, the timeline of a galaxy far, far away has been detailed.

Following a brief look at the timeline of Star Wars at Star Wars Celebration 2023, a new page on the official website has detailed every era of the franchise seen so far, including space for those that have yet to be introduced.

From the Dawn of the Jedi to the New Jedi Order, the eras webpage has every mainstream piece of Star Wars media including games, movies and various series. New shows including Ahsoka and Young Jedi Adventures are even included on the timeline to confirm what’s canon. Unfortunately, that means the LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special is nowhere to be found.

While the Old Republic era has a description, the Dawn of the Jedi and New Jedi Order eras are empty and greyed out. This is likely not to spoil anything ahead of the two Star Wars movies that will debut these eras.

We can likely expect this page to be updated with each new project, as long as it’s canon to the overarching story in a galaxy far, far away. For now, Ahsoka (set in The New Republic era) is streaming on Disney+ with a third episode at 2am BST on August 30.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
