Star Wars Jedi: Survivor features a creature we want as a LEGO bigfig

The recent Star Wars Jedi: Survivor trailer included a menacing creature that we want to see recreated as a massive LEGO bigfig.

There’s been a distinct lack of new bigfigs in 2022 (something that we talk about here), with only a handful of the large pre-moulded characters appearing in LEGO sets in recent years. Whilst some have been included in the likes of 76192 Avengers: Endgame Final Battle and 80025 Sandy’s Power Loader, it seems as though mechs are starting to fill the role of bulked up characters, with a number of such sets due to arrive on January 1, 2023.

However, we don’t feel that LEGO bigfigs have had their day quite yet and there are certainly plenty of characters out there who would fit the format. For instance, the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor trailer that dropped last week included one such beast in the shape of what appears to be a jungle or forest wampa. These monsters are a subspecies of those that live on Hoth and most recently appeared in the Star Wars: The Old Republic – Shadow of Revan video game.

The white Hoth version of the wampa bigfig has only been included in two LEGO Star Wars sets to date, 8089 Hoth Wampa Cave in 2010 and 75098 Assault on Hoth in 2016. Both use the same mould, but a slight retooling and new paint job would be all that’s needed to create a jungle or forest variant of the savage creature.

There have been no announcements from the LEGO Group regarding any possible sets based on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor to date, so do take that as pure wish-fulfilment on our part. It’s still possible to pick up 75335 BD-1 though, with the 1,062-piece model recreating Cal Kestis’ droid sidekick as seen in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be launched on March 17, 2023, on Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5 and PC platforms.
