Star Wars: The Acolyte trailer and launch details revealed

It’s May the 4th and a new trailer for Star Wars: The Acolyte has been revealed alongside details of the latest Star Wars series’ premiere.

Star Wars Day has arrived and – as is tradition – news for a future Star Wars project has been shared in the form of the second trailer for The Acolyte. The upcoming series takes place in the High Republic era and focuses on the murder of a Jedi and a dark force emerging from the shadows.

The trailer offers a better look at the upcoming series following the first earlier this year and it features an interesting ship that can split in the middle, which would make an ideal LEGO set complete with a play function built-in.

No LEGO Star Wars: The Acolyte sets are rumoured or confirmed at the time of writing despite the series getting other merchandise.

Star Wars: The Acolyte starts streaming on Disney+ on June 4 with a two-episode premiere and likely one weekly episode after. The online Star Wars Databank is filled with details for the many characters for those who want to spend May the 4th reading up in advance.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
