The Great LEGO Race VR Experience coming to the UK
The Great LEGO Race VR Experience is coming to the UK at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester.
In what looks to be the LEGO world’s answer to wacky racers, fans can strap into a VR experience and take on the Great LEGO Race. The attraction, opening soon at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester, allows guests to be immersed in a colourful LEGO race that sees a variety of minifigures racing crazy contraptions to be the first across the finish line. This experience will cost an additional £5.00 on top of the usual entry price.
Two LEGOLAND theme parks – Malaysia and Florida – took the existing Project X rollercoasters and added the virtual reality component last year, so that riders wear headsets and experience the Great LEGO Race while feeling the real world thrills and spills. It seems that for this new version of the experience, guests will be rocked while seated to simulate the movement of a coaster.
Tickets to visit the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester can be booked at the venue’s website.
