The LEGO Botanical Collection is growing with 10289 Bird of Paradise

The popular LEGO Botanical Collection will soon see another plant added to the garden as 10289 Bird of Paradise has been revealed.

With stock consistently running short on the previous entries to the collection, 10280 Flower Bouquet and 10281 Bonsai Tree, it’s safe to say that the LEGO Group’s green theme has been a blooming success.

Building off the popularity for the range, 10289 Bird of Paradise will soon be the third set in the theme. The set depicts a brick-built version of the real-life plant and includes 1,173 pieces.

The large leaves have been recreated with Technic panels whereas the flowers used standard LEGO bricks of varying bright colours The model is planted into a brick-built vase made from black and brown elements forming a simple striped design.
