The LEGO NASA Ulysses Space Probe VIP reward is about to launch
VIP points at the ready: the long-awaited LEGO NASA Ulysses Space Probe is about to go live in the VIP Rewards Centre.
The promo model was originally intended to launch in tandem with 10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery on April 1, but was shunted back to an unknown date just hours before release. That date was confirmed yesterday as April 14.
You’ll need 1,800 spare VIP points (or roughly £12 in rewards vouchers) to redeem the reward, which you’ll then be able to add to your next order at LEGO.com. If you make that purchase before April 20, you’ll also bag double VIP points on anything you buy – including, for example, 10283 NASA Space Shuttle Discovery.
The Ulysses Space Probe will go live at 9am BST / 10am CET in the UK and Europe, which is roughly 15 minutes after the publication of this story. US fans, meanwhile, will be able to claim the physical reward from 9am EST.
Based on previous VIP rewards (including this month’s Space-themed VIP collectible coin), the Ulysses Space Probe probably won’t hang around for long, so make sure you’ve got your finger on the button as soon as it appears regardless of your time zone.

Author Profile
- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
