You can now recreate The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in LEGO

Thanks to an upcoming wave of LEGO Harry Potter, you’ll soon be able to recreate a slice of another Florida theme park – The Wizarding World.

In a move that seems likely to be entirely coincidental by the LEGO Harry Potter design team, one new set in the upcoming wave of Harry Potter is one of the last necessary elements to recreating The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort.

Much like how the LEGO Group has already released two Disney sets explicitly based on Walt Disney World, with another potentially on the way, here are the LEGO Harry Potter sets you can use for another Florida theme park display.

Hogsmeade

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort is split between two sections, one at each theme park in the resort. The first is Hogsmeade, which is also present at other Universal parks around the world.

This mostly focuses on the village located near Hogwarts and you can use 76388 Hogsmeade Village Visit and 71043 Hogwarts Castle to represent it, with the scale of the latter model also being accurate thanks to the help of forced perspective at the park. To get to the other section of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter without breaking immersion, you can use the Hogwarts Express, represented in both sections of this list by 75955 Hogwarts Express.

Diagon Alley

The second area is exclusive to Universal Studios Florida and is named Diagon Alley. It goes without saying that 75978 Diagon Alley can be used to depict the land, just without Gringotts. The bank has yet to receive a new set since 40289 Diagon Alley and 10217 Diagon Alley, but the alley is otherwise mostly complete.

The Hogwarts Express doesn’t deposit you within Diagon Alley though, as a London waterfront is also included in the theme park, complete with the row of buildings that inspired 76408 12 Grimmauld Place. That set launches on June 1, alongside six other LEGO Harry Potter summer 2022 models.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
