Too excited for LEGO Ideas 21327 Typewriter? Try this mini build

The fan designer for the new LEGO Ideas 21327 Typewriter is offering the perfect solution for builders that simply can’t wait to get their hands on the working model.

Steve Guinness is celebrating the reveal of 21327 Typewriter with the announcement of an additional version of his original fan model, with a miniature model of the LEGO Ideas set

This smaller build won’t set you back quite as much as 21327 Typewriter and may not retain quite as many functions as the final model, but it’s instantly recognisable as the latest set from the fan-favourite theme. Some free instructions have been provided by Steve to follow along, as well as a parts list of which most should be fairly easy to acquire.

One brick that you may struggle to find is the sand green sausage, as unsurprisingly most of the food items in LEGO City and across the brick-built worlds don’t come in such a natural colour. However, one of the NINJAGO sets for 2021 did include the piece – 71733 Epic Battle Set – Cole vs. Ghost Warrior. You can grab that set from the official online store now, and hopefully finish the mini build before 21327 Typewriter releases on June 16 for VIP members.
