Video review: LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection 2022

Watch as we put the latest additions to the LEGO Star Wars Helmet Collection through their paces in our latest video review.

75327 Luke Skywalker (Red Five) Helmet, 75328 The Mandalorian Helmet and 75343 Dark Trooper Helmet will all be joining the line-up on March 1, following a format firmly established by 75274 TIE Fighter Pilot Helmet, 75276 Stormtrooper Helmet, 75277 Boba Fett Helmet, 75304 Darth Vader Helmet and 75305 Scout Trooper Helmet.

That’s a lot of helmets, and a whole lot of original trilogy baddies. But the latest trio mixes things up with two characters from The Mandalorian, along with the series’ first hero character – and its first open-faced helmet – in Luke’s X-wing headgear. Each and every one of the new sets therefore brings something new to the table, but is that alone enough to make them worth picking up?

You’ll have to hit play on the video above (or head over to our YouTube channel) to find out. If you prefer your reviews in written form, we’ve got you covered there, too: hit the links below to head through to the respective reviews for each of the three new helmets.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
