WATCH: LEGO Ideas 21336 The Office sure has a lot of stickers

If you like the look of the newly-revealed LEGO Ideas 21336 The Office, let’s hope you also like the thought of applying a whole lot of stickers.

There’s plenty to pick out and scrutinise in the latest LEGO Ideas set, from its very many nods and references to the US sitcom to what it tells us about recent rumours. But even a quick glance at 21336 The Office is enough to realise that, perhaps unsurprisingly, it sure has a lot of stickers – as we cover in our latest YouTube short.

We say ‘unsurprisingly’ because as LEGO subject matter goes, an office is pretty mundane. How do you make desks, filing cabinets, blinds and paperwork exciting? By cramming in as much detail as possible, of course, mostly communicated through decorated elements. But given the sheer number of them in the 1,164-piece set, there was never any chance of them all being printed.

Some are actually printed, however – as you’ll discover by hitting play on the video below, which explores just some of the seemingly limitless stickers in 21336 The Office, and the rare prints that sit alongside them. I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
