Watch The Batman’s main trailer rebuilt in bricks as movie release nears

The Batman arrives in cinemas worldwide soon, and to celebrate the movie’s main trailer has been recreated in LEGO by a group of 15 animators.

Joebor1777 on YouTube has continued their trend of recreating trailers for movies and TV series by turning their attention to The Batman, just under a week before it releases around the world. Specifically, the 3-minute main trailer for The Batman was picked for this latest video.

The animation was created by a group of 15 animators and the description for the video features a full list of credits for the team. Production is noted as starting in early November, meaning the video was in development for a maximum of four months.

Unlike other LEGO trailer recreations, not everything is made using stop-motion. During one of the opening scenes, Paul Dano’s Riddler is arrested, leaving a cup of coffee behind. In that mug brick, the familiar question mark symbol is represented using VFX.
