We might see the rumoured Obi-Wan Kenobi LEGO Star Wars sets next month

Star Wars Celebration is hosting a LEGO panel that may feature set reveals, offering the possibility that the listed Kenobi models might be detailed next month.

On May 27 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm PST at Star Wars Celebration 2022, a panel named The Summer of LEGO Star Wars will be hosted. This might be a chance for us to see some summer 2022 Star wars builds.

The description specifically states ‘discover brand-new construction sets that are sure to keep you busy this year’. This might just be referring to the new Star Wars models out ready for May the 4th, but considering the lengthy gap between the panel and their availability, it might also be referring to a selection of previously-listed sets.

According to retailer listings, the following LEGO Star Wars kits have yet to release:

lego

75323 The Justifiers – €159.99, 1,022 pieces
75332 4+ AT-ST – €29.99, 87 pieces
75333 Obi-Wan Spaceship – €29.99, 282 pieces
75334 Obi-Wan Darth Vader – €49.99, 408 pieces
75335 BD-1– €99.99, 1,062 pieces
75336 Spaceship from Kenobi – €99.99, 924 pieces
75337 AT-TE – €139.99, 1,082 pieces
75340 Star Wars Advent Calendar– €34.99, 329 pieces

Three of those seem likely to be based on the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series, which releases on the same day as the panel. Given this, the synergy that would come from revealing a range of Obi-Wan Kenobi LEGO Star Wars as the series starts might be a tempting opportunity for the LEGO Group to take advantage of.

However, none of this has currently been confirmed for the panel, and it may just be referring to 75341 Luke Skywalker’s Landspeeder and the Diorama Collection. Notably, a retailer has teased that summer 2022 sets are being revealed imminently, so LEGO Star Wars may soon follow anyway.

LEGO has been a part of my life ever since I was young. It all started when my brother passed down 7657 AT-ST to me. It’s guided me through my early years, through school and eventually through my degree in journalism. I still have all my collection proudly on display, including my many NINJAGO sets, my favourite of all the LEGO Group’s themes. Outside of Brick Fanatics I am an avid gamer and enjoy a good game of Dungeons & Dragons.
