What to expect from Marvel at D23 after the Comic-Con reveals

Following the news-filled Marvel Studios panel at San Diego Comic-Con, it might give us an idea of what to expect from Marvel at D23.

It’s unlikely that we’ll have any more major reveals from Marvel Studios at San Diego Comic-Con 2022 after the animation and live-action panels over the last couple of days. They were filled with all kinds of announcements from series to movies to outlining the name and story of the current saga of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

However, these reveals don’t seem to have left a lot to announce at this stage at D23, where another round of Marvel news will be showcased as well as reveals for Star Wars and more. Despite that, there’s still a lot we didn’t see at San Diego Comic-Con such as the rest of phase six, of which only three films were revealed. It may be that the remaining eight will be highlighted at D23.

It’s being reported that Kevin Fiege said as much at the Comic-Con 2022 panel, though that hasn’t been confirmed so you should set expectations accordingly.

Alternatively, we might also see more trailers at D23 such as those for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 that were featured at the Comic-Con panel but have not been shared online yet.

With the announcements from San Diego Comic-Con 2022 and the upcoming news from D23, we have a good idea of where the Multiverse Saga of the MCU is heading and there’s a lot of potential for LEGO sets and minifigures.

D23 2022 takes place from September 9 to 11, 2022, with the Marvel panel taking place on September 10.
