John Lewis Christmas adverts in LEGO
It’s impossible to avoid the ubiquity of the John Lewis at this time of year, helped in no small part by social media. To celebrate having produced ten of the festive adverts, John Lewis enlisted the LEGO builders at Bright Bricks to recreate five memorable moments.
The following information has been provided in a press release:
The five intricate scenes took seven expert LEGO builders 116 hours to construct, and comprise a staggering 9,400 bricks in total. The adverts include:
· The Journey (2012)
· The Bear and the Hare (2013)
· Monty the Penguin (2014)
· Man on the Moon (2015)
· Buster the Boxer (2016)
As an extra special treat, customers can view the five LEGO scenes on display in the Toys section at John Lewis’ flagship store on Oxford Street from now until Christmas. You’ll find the sets right next to Buster’s garden on the fourth floor of the Oxford Street store.
So there’s something fun to look out for while doing the Christmas shopping on Oxford Street, to see which adverts you recall.
