Lamborghini Veneno Roadster achieves 10,000 LEGO Ideas votes
The latest project to hit 10,000 votes on Ideas and be in with a chance of becoming an official LEGO set is the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster. Talented and prolific AFOL Firas Abu-Jaber submitted the project on June 22, 2015 – and a little over a year later, he has passed the first hurdle.
The LEGO Ideas team gave the following statement:
You’ve zoomed across the finish line way ahead of time in this raging bull of a supercar! Congrats for hitting this milestone with the support of so many automotive enthusiasts! The Veneno is a notoriously angular car but you’ve done very well to pull of the overall design of this red rocket! The roadster edition is also the perfect super car for the heat of the summer.
The Lamborghini Veneno Roadster now joins a packed Second 2016 Review, during which a LEGO Group panel will determine its fate.
