LEGOLAND Dubai unveil Taj Mahal for Miniland
The model makers at LEGOLAND Dubai have completed work on a 280,000+ brick replica of the Taj Mahal, revealed today to celebrate India’s Independence Day. As LEGOLAND Dubai comes closer to its opening date, models are being added to the park’s covered Miniland ready for the public to enjoy.
Time Out Dubai report:
Made up of 280,741 LEGO bricks and weighing more than 645 kilos, the ultra-realistic replica took 2,019 hours to put together.
Even though that equates to 84 days, it’s still logically a lot less than the building time of the original and full-size Taj Mahal, the majestic mausoleum taking approximately 20 years to be completed.
