Reminder: LEGO Star Wars Platinum R2-D2 prize draw
LEGO Star Wars have the opportunity to win one of two special platinum R2-D2 minifigures.
These one-off LEGO Star Wars R2-D2 minifigures have been cast in platinum, and will go to just two winners of a prize draw. To enter, fans should head to the contest page, where a few basic details are all that is required be in with a chance of owning one of these elusive minifigures.
The special, one-off items are reminiscent of the bronze C-3PO minifigures given away as prizes in 2007. A video shared by the LEGO Group shows how the platinum R2-D2 models have been carefully hand made. The figure has been valued at £2,500.
Entries are accepted until January 1, 2018 at 12:01 am US Eastern time. The winners will be notified by January 19, 2018. Because of just how few prizes there are in this contest, the terms and conditions emphasise how unlikely it is that entrants will win:
MANY WILL ENTER; ONLY TWO WILL WIN A PRIZE.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is in cinemas now. The LEGO sets based on the upcoming movie are available now.
