The LEGO NINJAGO Movie UK previews earn £1.48m
The UK box office numbers show that The LEGO NINJAGO Movie earned £1.48 million during its preview weekend.
Saturday, October 7 and Sunday, October 8, saw cinemas offer previews of The LEGO NINJAGO Movie ahead of its October 13 release date. The film grossed £1.48 million, down on the £2.45 million that The LEGO Batman Movie previews earned, and the £2.2 million that The LEGO Movie previews earned.
Screen Daily reports the figures, that will be added to the movie’s gross when it opens on Friday, October 13 across the UK. The film had a disappointing opening in the USA, under performing against expectations – analysis has suggested that this is down to a lack of brand recognition, poorer reviews than the preceding films received and LEGO movie fatigue.
