New Star Wars live action series coming in 2021 and 2022
The two new live action Star Wars series will come to Disney+ in 2021 and 2022.
New press material released by Disney+ in France reveals that the new Cassian Andor live action series will debut next year, while the Obi-Wan Kenobi series starring Ewan McGregor will launch in 2022, Jedi News reports.
While this information may not prove to be accurate, as the coronavirus pandemic has caused knock-on effects for the film and television industry, it is the firmest confirmation yet of dates for each series.
Fans can expect LEGO sets based on the shows, although will be hoping there will not be a year long wait, as there was with LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian 75292 The Razor Crest.
A new season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian will debut later this year. With the positive reviews and audience reaction that it received, these follow-up shows have a tough act to follow.

Cassian Andor series (untitled)
Diego Luna will once again play Cassian Andor in this series, which takes place during the first years of the Rebellion, before the events described in ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY. This breathtaking spy thriller goes on daring missions. Their goal: to give hope to the galaxy, subjugated by a ruthless Empire. Alan Tudyk will also be there, as K-2SO. Stephen Schiff (The Americans) is the showrunner and executive producer of the Lucasfilm-produced series.
THIS PROGRAM WILL BE DISCOVERED DURING 2022
AND ALSO … +++++ Ewan McGregor will resume his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in a new series with an unknown title produced by Lucasfilm.
