LEGO Ideas gets another chance at a historical helmet recreation 

The latest project in the second 2023 LEGO Ideas review is giving the concept of a historical helmet model another shot at a set. 

Back in the first 2021 review, Tutankhamun by Swan Dutchman proposed a historical helmet build similar to the sets inspired by the fictional headwear from Marvel, DC and Star Wars. 

While that project wasn’t ultimately approved, Delusion Brick’s Spartan Helmet of Leonidas builds on that concept with more armour inspired by the warrior.  

Provided this project can impress the judges in this review round, it wouldn’t be the first LEGO Spartan representation thanks to the minifigure in the second LEGO Collectible Minifigures series. 

The LEGO Ideas submission is the third in the second 2023 review, which started just over a week ago. It’s still a bit early to judge whether this round will beat the record-breaking number in the first 2023 review.
