All the new LEGO sets, deals and free gifts for March 2021

Another brand new month means another fresh batch of LEGO sets, freebies and offers to look forward to, so we’ve rounded up everything arriving at LEGO.com in March 2021.

From seasonal promos to a beautiful tribute to an aviation pioneer (fittingly timed for International Women’s Day on March 8), there’s plenty of incentive to indulge in a little LEGO shopping this month. And, of course, there are plenty of new sets to get your hands on, if you’d somehow managed to catch up on your wish list following the January onslaught.

Here’s your handy guide to everything to keep an eye out for this month…

Dozens of new sets

Literally dozens! For reasons known only to its suits, the LEGO Group has split the winter waves for the vast majority of its themes across January and March. That does mean we’ve been able to spread out our shopping, though, so we’re not complaining too much. This month sees the launch of more Star Wars, Marvel, NINJAGO, Friends, Monkie Kid and Disney sets, along with the very first VIDIYO products. Click here to see the full list.

10295 Porsche 911

It’s been available for VIPs since February 16, but from today, all LEGO fans can walk into a store (where they’re open) and pick up 10295 Porsche 911, or order the new 18+ vehicle directly from LEGO.com. You won’t cop the incredibly limited Porsche owners’ pack GWP – which disappeared from the online store in roughly 30 minutes in the UK – but you will get yourself a stunning rendition of a very cool car.

LEGO DOTS 30556 Mini Frame

This LEGO DOTS polybag is free with a £35 spend at LEGO.com from March 1 to March 14, or while stocks last. The buildable photo frame includes plenty of colourful tiles to decorate it with, but you can grab even more with the newly-launched 41931 Extra DOTS – Series 4. And if stock lasts until March 6, it should stack very nicely with another promo…

40450 Amelia Earhart Tribute

This stunning gift-with-purchase will be free with a £100 / $100 / €100 spend from March 6 to 14 (or while stocks last). Check out our review to see why you should definitely make a beeline for it as soon as it goes live, but make sure you’re ready at 11pm UK time on March 5, just in case we have a repeat performance of the Porsche owners’ pack. You don’t want to miss out on this one.

40449 Easter Bunny’s Carrot House

From March 15, a £60 / $60 / €60 purchase will net you 40449 Easter Bunny’s Carrot House. The seasonal set looks an absolute delight (particularly if you like orange), and you’ll be able to pick it up through the Easter weekend, as the offer runs until April 5. Unless it runs out before then, that is. Which, you know, it probably will.

30579 Easter Chick

If one Easter promo wasn’t enough for you, try a second on for size. But only if you’re residing somewhere other than the UK, because 30579 Easter Chick will only be available in LEGO Stores. We can hopefully look forward to paying a long-awaited visit to our local brand stores from April 12, but this particular offer only runs until April 5. US fans will be able to grab it with a $40 spend from March 15.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then.
