Double LEGO VIP points promotion launches at the official shop

The official LEGO online shop is offering double VIP points on all orders.

All orders at LEGO.com will get double VIP points – the equivalent of 10% LEGO cashback instead of the usual 5%. VIP accounts are completely free to signup for, so anyone who wants the extra discount can sign up for the scheme.

There are a number of new sets available now, including LEGO Creator Expert 10271 Fiat 500, LEGO Marvel 76162 Black Widow’s Helicopter Chase and LEGO Ideas 21321 International Space Station.

Three new LEGO Star Wars sets are available to pre-order – 75277 Boba Fett Helmet, 75276 Stormtrooper Helmet and 75274 TIE Fighter Pilot Helmet.

The deal combines with the 40370 Train (review) promotion, which offers the set for free with orders totalling £99 or more.

Points can be used for more than just buying sets too, with the LEGO.com VIP Reward Centre is offering LEGO FORMA 81000 Koi Model for just 4,200 points, around half the price it is available at the official online shop.

Odeon cinema passes were recently added to the reward scheme, although given the current closure of most cinemas this is probably not the most sensible use of points.

The double VIP points promotions will run until March 29.
