First West Country Brick Show is a huge success
LEGO fans queued for hours to check out the West Country Brick Show, the first brick based event to be held in Exeter. Visitors queued for up to two hours to get inside and see builds from some of the most talented fan designers around. The Exeter and Express Echo reported that the show, held on Saturday 30th July, actually stayed open for an extra hour to meet demand.
The team behind the West Country Brick Show posted a message on the event Facebook page to thank everyone who attended:
A year ago, four friends sat down and wondered if anybody would be interested in our hobby. We took a risk to follow our dream and put our own money behind bringing the first LEGO Show to the West Country.
Never in our wildest dreams did we anticipate such an overwhelming response. Thank you to each and everyone one of you, our fellow LEGO fans who came from all over the UK to see the Show.
Brick Fanatics will feature a show report from the event soon.

Just a shame the event was just the one day so was unable to make it. Hopefully the next one will cover the whole weekend
