Five more LEGO Marvel sets we need for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is out now with three LEGO Marvel sets for the film, but there are a few more that we need for the movie.

The Guardians of the Galaxy are back one more time in their third cinematic outing and this article will feature heavy spoilers from the movie.

The current range of LEGO Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 sets includes 76253 Guardians of the Galaxy Headquarters, 76254 Baby Rocket’s Ship, 76255 The New Guardians’ Ship. However, these cover only a select few scenes from the film.

With LEGO Marvel returning to past movies in recent years, here are five more that we need to see.

5 – Knowhere

Following the recent release of 75356 Executor Super Star Destroyer, a miniature model of Knowhere could be an appropriate tribute of the Guardians’ new home without breaking the bank. Considering the range of LEGO Marvel helmets already available it could use a similar stand too.

4 – Guardians in space suits

Inspired by the appearance of multi-coloured space suits in Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and 70841 Benny’s Space Squad, a set recreating the Guardians in their colourful suits would be a fun homage to Classic Space while providing exclusive, but not unreasonable, minifigures.

3 – Hallway fight

Towards the end of the film, the Guardians decide to stay and fight the High Evolutionary, rushing through a hallway of enemies to further enter his ship. A set with a brick-built abomination and a couple of minifigures would be a good option for an inexpensive set.

2 – Groot’s severed head

While a life-sized LEGO Groot based on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is enticing, it might not be entirely reasonable given his size. However, a model similar to 76217 I Am Groot of just his head and the tendrils following his encounter with Adam Warlock could be more apt.

1 – The new Guardians of the Galaxy

76253 Guardians of the Galaxy Headquarters is based on the very start of the film and a set based on the very end of the movie could balance the selection. Out of the post-credit scenes, a set based on the new Guardians of the Galaxy could include Groot’s huge form as its main model.
