Five of the rarest LEGO Black Friday GWP sets released to date

With this year’s LEGO Black Friday offers currently in full effect, here are five of the rarest promotional GWP sets released for the event so far.

The LEGO Group has been releasing exclusive GWP sets for Black Friday since 2011 (or Brick Friday as it was known back then), with must-have promotional models often only available with much larger and more expensive builds. Although some LEGO Black Friday sets may occasionally reappear at a later date, once they’re gone, they’re usually gone for good. In addition, these models tend to command a fairly high price on the secondary market, with demand driven by scarcity and the desire of fans to add the unique builds to their collections.

Here’s our list of five of the rarest LEGO Black Friday GWP sets released to date, complete with current market value prices (at the time of this writing):

5 – 40292 Christmas Gift Box
