First look at Indiana Jones 5 revealed in official images

Official images for the upcoming fifth Indiana Jones film have been revealed, giving us our first clear look at the ageing adventurer.

Next summer will see the return of Henry Jones Jr. to the big screen, in what’s reported to be the final adventure for Harrison Ford’s globetrotting archaeologist adventurer. A teaser image from the film and a showcase of costumes and art have already given us a taste of what may be to come, but it’s Empire magazine that has the first big scoop on Indiana Jones 5.

The latest issue of the publication is due to hit newsstands on November 24 and features a cover image of Harrison Ford decked out in full Indy costume. In addition, subscribers will receive their copies slightly earlier and be treated to an exclusive cover variant that finds the title character in 1960s-era New York City. Inside the latest Empire, readers will be able to take a world-exclusive dive into the fifth (and still untitled) Indiana Jones movie, with interviews with the movie’s stars, writers and director.

Rumours suggest that a number of LEGO Indiana Jones sets may be arriving next year, with the releases split across the original films and the new movie. However, there’s been no word whatsoever from the LEGO Group regarding the potential theme or any possible sets, so do take any such information with a pinch of salt for now.
