LEGO enlists Henry and Rashford to tease Ideas 21337 Foosball Table

The LEGO Group has enlisted footballers Thierry Henry and Marcus Rashford to tease the next LEGO Ideas set, which seems all but certain to arrive in November.

The LEGO Ideas theme is one of the more popular themes amongst older LEGO fans. Each set in the theme is the product of a fan design, which earns consideration from the LEGO Group by gaining 10,000 supporters on the LEGO Ideas website. As such the theme boasts a range of unusual models, with a variety of licensed and non-licensed material available.

Now it seems that 21337 Foosball Table is due to appear on November 1, 2022. This information comes from a new teaser video posted on the official LEGO Twitter account, which features famous footballers Thierry Henry and Marcus Rashford squaring up for a competition.

The foosball table itself doesn’t appear in the footage (all five seconds of it) but earlier pictures of the prototype – designed by one Donát Fehévári – suggest we’ll be getting a substantially sized, fully functional foosball table to play with. That’s if the LEGO Group hasn’t deviated substantially from the original submission, which isn’t unheard of in the LEGO Ideas line.

We’ll presumably find out more in the days and weeks to come as we approach November, but given the Ideas team has tweeted the same video, this looks certain to be referencing the Foosball Table.
