LEGO Architecture 21056 Taj Mahal revealed

A new LEGO Architecture set has been revealed with the theme revisiting a landmark previously seen in brick-built form, but at a more affordable scale.

21056 Taj Mahal is one of the latest 18+ sets to come from the LEGO Group’s new adult-focused sets, with the model being part of the Architecture theme like 21054 The White House

This similarly bright structure depicts the white marble mausoleum of India, but at a smaller size than what the LEGO Group has done it in before.

Whereas 10256 Taj Mahal contained almost 6,000 pieces, this new model has just 2,022, with the build created on a single baseplate. Coincidentally, both builds also have a very similar set number.

This joins 10289 Bird of Paradise as the new LEGO 18+ sets launching on June 1 in Europe and the rest of the world, while US builders will need to wait until August 1. The model will cost £89.99 / $119.99.

You’ll be able to get a much closer look before then though as our review for 21056 Taj Mahal will go live at 2pm UK time tomorrow.
